So I’ve been pretty much missing in action this whole month. I know, I’ve been terrible. Being stuck in revisions and line edits is not excuse, but SERIOUSLY, guys, they almost drove me crazy. GAH!!!
But it’s May now, and I plan to remedy this by emerging from my writer cave with a big shiny cover reveal for a book I am super excited about. EYRE HOUSE will be released in July, and I will be one of the first to grab it. Read on and you’ll see why:
When eighteen-year-old orphan Evan Richardson signed up to work at Eyre House, on the sleepy tourist getaway of Edisto Island, SC, he never expected to find himself dodging ghosts. But Eyre House seems to have more than its fair share of things that go bump in the night, and most of them seem to surround his employer’s daughter.
Back from her freshman year of college, Ginny Eyre is dangerous from word one. She’s a bad girl with ghosts of her own, and trouble seems to follow her everywhere she goes. But living or dead, trouble isn’t just stalking Ginny. When her ex-boyfriend is found murdered in the pool, Evan knows he’s got two choices – figure out what’s going on, or become the next ghost to haunt Ginny Eyre.
Annnnnnd the stunning cover…. (drumroll)….
Here’s a tiny little excerpt Cait was kind enough to share:
In the dark, I hadn’t seen her move. Just felt the sudden whisper of her breath on my face and the spread of her hand across my bicep. And I definitely felt the brush of her lips on my jaw. My fingers tightened on the handgrip.
Be sure to add it on Goodreads, and keep an eye on my Twitter and blog for more release day info!
