Everything in America is so fast…
I never understood the desire for such a hectic life.
— an Italian woman in The Broker, by John Grisham
To truly enjoy a cup of coffee, one has to relish the taste of it, not down it madly in a rush for that caffeine high. I have so much on my plate that I am realizing some of it just has to go. What goes first? Not sure yet. But I’m working on it.
One thing is for certain; restful activities such as sleep must go higher on the priority list. I know it is customary for the bride to be stressing out, but I’ve been stressing out about stuff way longer than I can claim excuse for. I get overloaded with huge projects, and when that happens, something as simple as washing the dishes can become a hardship.
So, I guess that says it right there. Projects. Too many projects = too much pressure = stressed out Rachel. Err, so, to eliminate projects, take a nice pair of office scissors to the to-do list and remove all items that a) do not require immediate attention and b) do not bring extreme benefit to those involved.
And yet, sitting around and being lazy doesn’t get anyone anywhere. Once again, a balance is required. Work but don’t burn out. Oh boy oh boy, this is a toughie.
Find’a balance, Daniel-son.

Yea! Another blog! Wow. You should totally slow down. Then you can do your half of the dishes more often. =p

Agh yeah. I eat too fast as well. Gulp gulp gulp. I think I’m worried that I’ll get hungry later in the day and not have time to eat, haha.
