Suddenly writing a blog and clicking publish immediately seems to be a ridiculously easy thing to do.

For the past thirteen days I have been typing away madly at a novel that I will finish by November 30th. There that draft will be, in my hands, ready for a quick and concise edit. As I approach the halfway point of 25,000 words, I realize that I have finally learned to write with abandon, to put my whole story and my whole plot out there because I haven’t time to hold it back, I haven’t time to wait and see how it might fit. Gone are my grinding halt days of writer’s block where I know my story but I have no idea how to get it out there. I just have to write it anyway, even if it comes out a slobbery mess.
